Gamers and home entertainment enthusiasts accumulate equipment quickly - consoles, controllers, headsets, game cases, streaming devices, speakers, amplifiers. Standard furniture was never designed to hold any of it properly. Cables end up tangled behind units, consoles overheat in enclosed spaces and controllers get dumped in a drawer that does not fit them.
A bespoke gaming or entertainment unit is built around your specific equipment and how you use it. Every compartment is sized for what goes in it. Every cable has a route. Every console has ventilation. The result is a setup that looks clean, works properly and makes your room feel organised rather than chaotic.
What We Design Into Gaming and Entertainment Units
Dedicated Console Compartments
Each console gets its own compartment, sized to fit with clearance for airflow. Ventilation is built in - either through mesh-backed panels or open-backed sections - so your equipment stays cool during long sessions. Power and HDMI cables route internally to the TV above.
Game and Media Storage
Dedicated sections for game cases, Blu-rays, vinyl or any other media you own. We can build shallow shelving for disc cases, deeper sections for collector editions and boxed items, or pull-out drawers for quick browsing. If your collection is large, we design the storage to grow with it.
Controller and Accessory Storage
Soft-close drawers with internal dividers keep controllers, headsets, charging cables and VR accessories organised and protected. We can include charging pass-throughs so controllers charge inside the drawer without leaving cables on show.
Display Sections
Open display shelving with LED backlighting is perfect for showcasing collectibles, figurines, special editions or awards. We set shelf spacing and lighting to highlight your items and create a feature within the unit.
Monitor and Screen Cable Routing
All cables - HDMI, power, ethernet, optical audio - run through internal channels behind the unit. Access panels let you add or change cables without moving anything. If you use multiple screens or monitors, we route each one independently to keep things tidy and traceable.
Soundbar and Speaker Integration
A dedicated soundbar shelf or recess sits directly below the screen, positioned for optimal sound projection. For surround sound setups, we can integrate speaker housings into the unit or build cable routes to rear speakers. Subwoofers can be housed in ventilated compartments within the base of the unit.

Yes. We design gaming and entertainment units with future flexibility in mind. Cable channels are oversized so you can run additional cables. Shelves are adjustable where possible. And because we build the unit, we can return to add new sections, swap out compartments or modify the layout as your setup evolves.
